Over the last two years, I’ve been learning to sew, embroider, quilt and smock, slow, therapeutic work that has brought me comfort in seasons of loss. What began as a way to busy my hands soon became something more. I discovered I wasn’t alone. Along this creative journey, I found such beautiful company in others who shared the same love of making. And just like the heather on the hills, we bloom best together.
