Welcome to Heather & Co. (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and the purchase of digital products, including sewing patterns and embroidery patterns (“Products”). By accessing or purchasing from our site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Digital Products & Licensing

  • All of our sewing and embroidery patterns are digital downloads. No physical products will be shipped.

  • Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the digital files.

  • You may use our patterns for personal projects and, if you are a solopreneur or independent maker, you are permitted to use each purchased pattern to create and sell up to 100 handmade products per calendar year.

  • Selling, sharing, redistributing, or sublicensing the digital files (in whole or in part) is strictly prohibited.

  • If you wish to use our patterns for larger-scale commercial purposes, you must contact us to arrange a separate commercial licence.

3. Ordering & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include UK VAT (if applicable).

  • Payment must be made in full before products are available for download.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time but changes will not affect orders already placed.

4. Delivery of Digital Products

  • After payment is confirmed, you will receive a link to download your digital product.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your device and software are compatible with the files.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, digital content that is downloaded immediately is non-refundable once the download has started, unless the file is faulty or not as described.

  • If you encounter an issue with your digital product, please contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will work to resolve it (e.g. by replacing the file).

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, including designs, images, text, and digital downloads, are the intellectual property of Heather & Co.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit our digital products beyond the permissions stated in these Terms.

  • The resale, sharing, or redistribution of our digital files in any format is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our digital products.

  • While we take care to ensure our files are free from defects, we are not responsible for issues arising from compatibility, software, or user error.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
