The Eden Collection
Share
The Eden Collection is a growing series of botanical embroidery patterns inspired by landscapes and meditative stitchwork. Each design focuses on restrained stitches, rhythmic patterns and harmonious colour, creating pieces that feel pure.
These patterns are designed to offer a slower stitching experience. Rather than complexity and constant variation, they emphasise rhythm and repetition. The result is embroidery that allows your hands to work steadily while the mind finds space to rest.
In time, The Eden Collection will gather a small series of these meditative pieces...to stitch slowly. They are, at the core, nurturing for the soul. I pray they soothe your heart as they do mine.
The Philosophy Behind Eden
Sometimes embroidery can keep the mind busy with colour changes, stitch variations and strand counts. On a full project the mind is a flurry of creativity and productivity. But sometimes we need something different. Eden was imagined as a space where the hands can follow a gentle rhythm while the mind is free to wander and rest. Restrained stitches, simple movement and harmonious colour allow each design to feel calm and balanced. These patterns are intended to be both beginner friendly and yet satisfying for experienced stitchers.

The Branch
The first design in the Eden Collection is The Branch, a botanical pattern built from just two stitches that create a substantial yet simple, meditative piece.

Using Eden Embroidery Designs
The embroidery patterns in The Eden Collection can be stitched as standalone hoop projects or used as companion designs on functional sewn pieces within the Heather & Co. sewing pattern collections.
Their restrained structure makes them perfectly suited to thoughtful placement on items such as project bags, tool cases and homeware pieces.
The collection will grow slowly, gathering designs that share the same gentle rhythm and botanical inspiration. My hope is that these pieces offer a little soothing creativity in the middle of everyday life.
